Leadership

What is leadership? Is it about title or position? Is it about making decisions? Is it about strategic thinking?

It is all of this, but to me, it is primarily about making an impact on people.

All great leaders share a trait of kindness and empathy. While they make key decisions and acknowledge the criticality of unwavering focus, they also keep compassion at the heart of everything they do.

They show empathy and understanding. They appreciate people more often. They take time to understand their team's concerns. They offer guidance and support.

In short, they show kindness.

And most importantly, they recognize that kindness isn't complacency. They leverage it as a powerful tool to boost morale and drive innovation. By demonstrating empathy and respect, they foster a positive and productive work environment and ensure the well-being of everyone.

I believe in this kind of leadership – because I know that it encourages growth and accountability. Kindness doesn’t lower standards, it elevates them.
